Testing out Buffwear for Pooches and the Osmotherly walk

You might have seen me in my new Dog Buff and wondered why I was wearing it – apart from the fact that I look great in it of course.  Well I’ve been testing these Buffs out to see what they’re like. My person got me one a while ago so that my ears would be protected from the strong sunshine and, because I’m small and blend into lots of backgrounds easily, so that she can find me again because the Buff is reflective and bright .

Here I am posing in the reflective red Dog Buff, being really good and waiting for a treat – in return for being a model! I’ve tested it on walks; it’s light and doesn’t get in my way, so I don’t mind wearing it and in emergencies it can also be used as a lead. It also comes in a different design and a larger size for dogs that are bigger than me.  If you want to have a look at some more, just go to the Shop bit on the website, you can see this pattern and others in more detail there and find out more about the special material they’re made from too.

Something else that I also like at the moment is my travel dog-water bottle.  It’s got a clip to hang on the back of my person’s rucksac and a tray for me to drink nice clean water out of – I like muddy puddle water but Corina says it’s better that I have clean stuff!  Anyway, here’s a picture of it and you can also find this in our Shop on the website.

We recently went on a walk from Osmotherly, which has quite a few nice looking pubs in the village. It would be a big help if you could visit them for us and let us know if they are pooch friendly.

Get out, get fit and enjoy your walks.

Sniffing out places where we’re welcome

Just in case you’re new to The Hidden Paw, here’s my mini profile: My name is Izzy and I’m a small perfectly formed Norfolk Terrier (born in Yorkshire). Sniffing out dog-friendly walks in Yorkshire is my specialist subject. I’m also very, very nosey and make it my business to seek places that let me in.
