A 2.5 mile (4km) there and back walk from the village of Terrington in North Yorkshire. This simple route allows you to experience the tranquillity and far-reaching views of this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, without venturing too far from civilisation. This walk is part of the Howardian Hills Easy Countryside Trails collection, published through a collaboration between iFootpath and the Howardian Hills AONB Partnership, with the aim of providing countryside access for all in the Howardian Hills.

Dress up with your dog and come down to York’s Knavesmire this Halloween, for a fun walk with all the family. There’s a spooky dog story en-route for you to enjoy, prizes for the most creative costumes, trick-or-doggy treat and refreshments available.

Even if you don’t own a dog, we would still be delighted for you to take part and do your bit for Jerry Green’s rescue dogs.
The entry fee is £5 adults and £2 for children and sponsorship is optional, with all donations going to Jerry Green Dog Rescue.
